In its efforts to achieve scale through operational excellence, the Bank embarked on a technology and operational transformation program with several key objectives in mind, including the replacement of legacy systems with a more efficient, low-risk platform, reduction of application process times, and improvements in customer-centricity.
However, the program's scale and visibility, both locally and globally, presented several challenges that required focused efforts to reduce delivery risk, maintain momentum, and ensure the program delivered against the bank's strategic objectives.
Our Approach And Outcomes Delivered
Our team of program management experts was tasked with providing support to the Group Executive on a large-scale program, spanning multiple facets, including business case development, program governance and management, vendor management, transformation readiness, and driving accountability against original business case targets.
We employed a combination of PRINCE2™ project management methods and an iterative software delivery approach model to ensure successful delivery. The program was executed by utilising a blend of on-shore and off-shore teams, which enabled us to achieve the desired outcomes on time and within budget.
